An experienced leader in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, specialising in biologics, R&D, and public health security. From 2018 to 2026, she served as President of the Management Board (CEO) of Wytwórnia Surowic i Szczepionek BIOMED Sp. z o.o., where she spearheaded the company’s transformation, advanced research and development initiatives, and expanded manufacturing capacity for biologics and therapies of critical importance to public health.

Her professional record includes leading R&D projects and implementing solutions to enhance medicines independence and epidemiological security. She is actively involved in initiatives focused on innovative therapies and medicines of strategic significance to the healthcare system. Professionally, she focuses on building manufacturing expertise in essential medicines and strengthening the role of domestic producers in ensuring continuity of supply and healthcare system resilience.

Katarzyna Piotrowska-Radziewicz

Katarzyna Piotrowska-Radziewicz

Member of the Management Board

An expert in pharmaceutical policy and law, with extensive experience in public administration and legal consultancy. She specialises in the development and implementation of systemic healthcare regulations, particularly regarding access to medicines, the pharmaceutical market, and EU legislation. She combines legal, regulatory, and strategic expertise, actively contributing to the shaping of health policy at both national and European levels.

Throughout her long-standing career in public administration, she served as Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Policy and Pharmacy at the Ministry of Health, where she was responsible, inter alia, for work on the EU Pharmaceutical Package and regulations concerning critical medicines. She has also served as a Government Expert to the European Commission during the drafting of the Cross-Border Healthcare Directive, and to the World Health Organization (WHO) within the Intergovernmental Working Group on Public Health, Innovation and Intellectual Property.

A seasoned manager specialising in the transformation of procurement processes within organisations with high operational and regulatory requirements. At TZF Polfa, she was responsible for defining and executing procurement policy, including the design and implementation of procurement strategies, as well as the centralisation and digitalisation of processes. She also supported the development of scalable structures to ensure operational stability and facilitate the company’s investment growth.

Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles, such as Business Operations Lead, Director of Logistics, and Division Director, gaining extensive experience in managing complex operations and cross-functional teams. She was also the co-owner of a service company and a manager in the education sector, where she was responsible for business development, process optimisation, and financial performance.
